It’s more motivating, more effective, and much more fun when you exercise in a group setting. Whether you’re a beginner or a hard-core enthusiast, you’ll benefit from the variety of fun, safe, effective classes offered by Amarillo Town Club. Our experienced and high-energy instructors keep your workouts exciting and fresh, being careful to work within your abilities while also challenging you to take the next step in whole-life fitness.
Choose from land, cycling, or mind/body classes that are tailored to meet the needs of our diverse, multi-generational membership. Maybe you’re looking for a traditional aerobic or spin class. Maybe you’re in the mood for something a little more cutting-edge. If so, you’ll be glad to know we’re constantly rotating and re-evaluating our classes to stay current with national fitness trends, while continuing to offer plenty of the basics. Regardless of your preferences, you’ll find just what you’re looking for at ATC — in a group setting that’ll help you meet and exceed your fitness goals.

Group Fitness Class Descriptions
LAND
LES MILLS BODYATTACK ™ (All fitness levels) - the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Suitable for everyone from the weekend athlete to the hardcore competitor!
LES MILLS BODYPUMP ™ (All fitness levels) - The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
LES MILLS BODYSTEP ™ (All fitness levels) - The energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body
Cardio Intervals (All fitness levels) – Boost cardio and muscular fitness levels with aerobic choreography and resistance/strength training performed in intervals throughout the class for a total body blast!
Express 50/50 (All fitness levels) – 30 minutes of step drills followed by 30 minutes of strength training normally focusing on the lower body and abs.
Forever Fit (Beginner) – A low impact floor aerobics class combined with strength training. This class provides weight bearing and cardiovascular exercises improving strength, balance and cardiovascular endurance.
Intermediate Step (All fitness levels) - Progress from beginner step into this more advanced step class using more intricate choreography patterns in a longer cardio segment to propel you to your fitness goals
Kickboxing (All fitness levels) – Kickboxing with a flare! Includes punches, kicks, plyometrics and jump rope. All techniques are incorporated to keep you moving and provide the ultimate workout!
Kickbox Interval (All fitness levels) – Incorporates punches, kicks and combinations from kickboxing with other cardio-inspired drills to maximize calorie expenditure in this fast moving one hour pour punch!
Sculpt (All fitness levels) – A non-impact strengthening and toning class for the entire body using free weights, balls, body bars and bands.
Step N Sculpt (All fitness levels) – This class will give you an awesome step workout followed by a strengthening and toning session. Get the best of both worlds in this total body workout!
Step/Kickbox Combo (All fitness levels) – varying step drills with kickboxing combinations to keep participants guessing, moving and sweating.
Tai Chi (All fitness levels) – Traditional mind/body exercises consisting of intricate sequences performed in a slow manner to increase balance, flexibility, strength and agility.
Zumba (All fitness levels) – A hi-lo impact dance class with Latin style. Learn salsa, samba, meringue and more while getting a great workout.
MIND/BODY
Mat Pilates (Intermediate to Advanced) – A series of movements done on a mat to strengthen core muscles including the abdominals, lower back, glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors and quadriceps. Bands may be utilized to increase resistance during the workout.
Pilates (Intermediate to Advanced) – A class designed to improve flexibility, coordination, and posture as well as increase awareness of proper body alignment and breathing.
Yoga/Pilates (All fitness levels) – Combination of both yoga and Pilates into one workout. You will increase your flexibility and relax as well as strengthen your core muscles.
Yoga (All fitness levels) – Relax, strengthen and soothe your body and mind in this beginning to intermediate level yoga class. You will increase your flexibility and strength through various postures and breathing techniques. A perfect compliment to all forms of exercise.
CYCLING
Cycle (All fitness levels) – Stationary bike workout offering great music and plenty of motivation. Take the road and join the team! Focuses on lower body strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Cycle & Abs (All fitness levels) – This stationary bike cardio workout followed by a 15 minute floor abs session will test your cardiovascular endurance and lower body strength.
Morning Grind (Intermediate to Advanced) - An intense way to wake up all of your senses. Stationary bike workout set to great music focusing on burning calories and increasing endurance.
Peak Performance (Intermediate to Advanced) – A powerful session of the high intensity spinning class that increases endurance, burns calories and strengthens the lower portion of the body.
