I want to look better.

We live in a looks-obsessed culture. One way to improve your appearance is with expensive plastic surgery. Or, you can do it the cheaper, more natural way: by shaping up.

How great would you look if you dropped a few pounds (or a few dozen)? What if you gained muscle definition in your arms, slimmed your waistline, or toned your legs? How would that change impact your self-confidence—not to mention your flexibility and energy level?

You’ll see people of all ages and shapes at the Amarillo Town Club. If you ask them why they’re swimming laps, lifting weights, or sweating it out on an elliptical, they might not admit that they’re exercising to improve their appearance. But they know it: fitness looks good.
